Country upstarts Rascal Flatts will begin a late winter tour Feb. 2 in Grand Rapids, Mich., and will be on the road through March 25 in Lafayette, Ark. Blake Shelton will support on all dates of the Me & My Gang trek, while Keith Anderson and Jason Aldean will alternate as the other opening act.

Rascal Flatts recently received its first Grammy nomination for "Bless the Broken Road," which made a showing in the best country vocal performance for duo or group for category. The song, which reached No. 1 on Billboard's Top Country Songs chart, also appears on the song of the year and country song of the year lists, netting Grammy nominations for songwriters Jeff Hannah, Marcus Hummon and Bobby Boyd.

Last year also saw the group enter the upper echelon of live country performers, earning Rascal Flatts the breakthrough artist of 2005 at the Billboard Roadwork '05 Touring Awards. The act grossed $26 million from 83 dates reported to Billboard Boxscore.

As previously reported, Flatts bassist Jay DeMarcus recently lent his production talents to "Thirty," the first all-new full-length from veteran act Chicago since 1991. The set is due later this year.
