Independent record label SST Records is making its catalog available for digital download for the first time through a distribution deal with The Orchard.

For the next two weeks, tracks from 94 of the label's top-selling albums will be made available exclusively through eMusic, a digital music service owned by The Orchard’s parent company—Dimensional Associates.

Beginning Jan. 24, The Orchard will then release SST content to other digital music retailers, including iTunes, MSN, Napster, Rhapsody and Yahoo. The deal also include ringtone and other mobile content distribution through Sprint, Vodaphone, Zingy and 9 Squared, among others.

The SST catalogue includes artists such as Black Flag, The Minutemen, The Descendents, Soundgarden, as well as Bad Brains and fIREHOSE.
