Side channels launching in five markets.
Entercom will soon be launching HD2 side channels in stations in Boston, Seattle, Indianapolis, Portland, Ore., and Wichita, Kan. Unlike other members of the HD Alliance, however, Entercom isn’t saying which new streams will be affiliated with which stations or when they will be available.
In Boston, where the company owns active rock WAAF and adult hits WMKK, Entercom will feature a live rock music stream and a dance station.
At the company’s Seattle cluster, which includes oldies KBSG, modern rock KNDD, triple-A KMTT, country KKWF and active rock KISW, Entercom will debut live rock, blues, international hits, adult R&B, comedy and news features.
Meanwhile in Indianapolis, adult top 40 WZPL and adult hits WNTR will be joined by blues and comedy companion stations.

Finally, in Wichita, where the company owns rhythmic top 40 KDGS, adult top 40 KFBZ, talk simulcast KFH-FM/AM, news KNSS and oldies KEYN, it will have HD2 stations featuring live rock, deep tracks, blues, comedy and news.
