To be offered on-air and via a Web store.

Fuse TV is preparing to offer viewers the chance to buy mobile entertainment content like ringtones, wallpaper graphics and games via on-air short-code messaging promotions.

When the service goes live, viewers will be able to send a text message to a dedicated short-code that allows them to buy the ringtone or mobile content being advertised. Fuse also will sell content via a Web-based mobile storefront.

The content and the technology behind the service will be provided and managed by InfoSpace, a mobile entertainment service provider.

Fuse TV currently incorporates mobile messaging viewer interaction in such programs as Daily Download, Perfect Pair, Heavy Texting, and Dumped. None of the current programming allows for content acquisition or distribution however, which the pending launch is designed to provide.
