Bear Stearns financial analyst Robert Peck issued a research note predicting search giant Google will introduce an online music store to compete with iTunes, perhaps in the next three to six months.

Peck cited the recently-launched Google Video service as an indicator, and stressed that Google did not confirm the speculation. The comments were made in a note where he maintained an "outperform" rating on Google's stock, with a $550 price target.
