Service still in development.
Audible Magic has inked a deal to provide Advanced Technology Industries (ATI) with content filtering services for its new commercial peer-to-peer service, Qtrax.
ATI says Qtrax, which is still in development, will be an advertising-supported P2P service offering music sampling and downloads.
Allan Klepfisz, chairman/CEO for ATI, says the deal will allow the company to expand its label relationships. ATI is working on securing content deals for Qtrax but is yet to announce any major label pacts.
Audible Magic is now publicly providing filtering services for two commercial P2P operations. The company also works with iMesh, which bowed a copyright friendly version of its file swapping application late last year.
New York based ATI is a publicly held company that trades under the ticker AVDI.
