She is nominated for best female, "Confessions On A Dance Floor" is nominated for album of the year and "Hung Up" is up for song of the year, best dance video and video of the year.

With three nominations each are Aussie pop duo Veronicas, Powderfinger singer Bernard Fanning, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Kanye West and local power trio Wolfmother.

British rock band the Darkness and Aussie pop duo the Veronicas are the first two performers to unveiled for event.

Votes are cast through the music TV network's Web site and by text messaging by March 31.
