To oversee sponsor integration strategies.

Chris Ficarra has been promoted to VP of integrated marketing for VH1, VH1.com, and VH1 Classic. Ficarra reports to Mark McIntire, senior VP of sponsorship development and integrated marketing at VH1.

In his new position, Ficarra will oversee the creation and implementation for sponsor integration strategies and will develop new marketing partnership opportunities.

Ficarra came to VH1 in 2003 as director of integrated marketing. Before joining VH1, Ficarra was at Vivendi Universal Net/Universal Music Group where he served as GM of RollingStone.com as well as VP of sales marketing & operations at GetMusic.com and director, sales marketing & operations at Farmclub.com.

Prior to that, Ficarra held positions at the National Basketball Association (NBA) most recently as manager, global marketing & media and he started his media career at True North Media Inc. as a research analyst.
