Honor to take place at the 2006 Juno Awards.

Singer Bryan Adams will be inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the 2006 Juno Awards April 2 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Adams will also perform during the awards as well.

With worldwide record sales in excess of 60 million, Adams recently celebrated his 25th anniversary in music with the release of the retrospective of his career, the two-disc CD collection, "Anthology" on A&M.

"Bryan is one of Canada's most admired artists and one of our leading ambassadors," said Melanie Berry, president of The Canadian Academy of Recording Arts
and Sciences (CARAS) which annually presents the Junos. "His distinguished collection of influential recordings have entertained and inspired many
generations of music-lovers."
