Label makes shifts in promo dept.
April Rider and Adrian Michaels have been promoted to VPs of promotion at Curb Records and Curb/Asylum Records, respectively. Both previously held the position of director of national promotion at their respective labels. Rider and Michaels report to Carson James, the VP of promotion for both imprints.
Rider has been with Curb for six years. Michaels joined Curb in 2003 and later moved to Asylum. He was promoted from Southwest regional to director of national promotion at Asylum in September, and recently relocated from Austin, Texas to Nashville.
Also, at Asylum, Mike Rogers is upped to national director of promotion. He had been the label's Southeast regional promoter. He reports to Michaels.
