Apple Bottoms, the fashion brand launched three years ago by rapper Nelly, continues to grow and expand with a new shoe line. Nelly launched the new line at the recently held fashion and apparel trade show Magic in Las Vegas.

With this addition, the Apple Bottoms line becomes a one-stop shopping brand for women, encompassing clothes and handbags. Recent additions to the Apple Bottoms family included plus-size fashions and a kids line.

Ed Foy, CEO of online fashion retailer eFashion Solutions, calls Apple Bottoms a strong line. His Secaucus, N.J.-based company has been selling the goods since 2004. What started out as a "sleeper brand" has evolved into a top seller, thanks to being featured on "The Oprah Winfrey Show." Foy credits the line's success to product extensions and price points that make sense for Apple Bottoms' core audience: female shoppers.
