Weier named VP of music and talent relations.
Fuse made two new appointments in the music programming and talent relations department today. David Weier is named VP of music and talent relations and Tricia O’Leary is director of music and talent relations.
Collectively, the team will oversee all aspects of the network’s talent functions including in-studio bookings and appearances by musicians and celebrities, development of fuse’s on-air talent and securing rights and permissions for fuse programming to be available across all multi-platform program offerings.
Weier began his career in marketing at VH1 before joining their music talent department where he helped develop programming including Storytellers, Behind the Music and Save the Music. He was most previously a consultant for Fuse and currently will be responsible for overseeing Fuse’s talent relations department, programming, artist development, tour support and all guest bookings on the network. He reports to Catherine Mullen, executive VP/GM for Fuse and is based in New York.
Reporting directly to Weier, O’Leary joins the team as the director of music and talent relations. O’Leary is responsible for overseeing all of the channel’s studio bookings for shows. She previously worked at VH1 where she helped shape the music and talent department, and prior to VH1, she worked at ICM and The Agency Group booking tours for various artists throughout the United States.
