With six nominations, newcomer Diana Navarro is in pole position for the tenth annual Premios de la Mùsica, to be held on May 5 in Madrid. The singer is up for new artist, her debut set "No Te Olvides De Mi" (DRO) is in the running for best album, Spanish song album and artistic producer (Chicho Valdivia and Manuel Illàn) awards. Her track "Sola" is nominated for best song and video (by Enrique Urdanoz and Manolo Gil).

EMI Spain duo Amaral is next up with four nominations. Amaral's "Días De Verano" is up for best song and video (by Juan Pablo Enis and Javier Gesto); best album for "Pájaros En La Cabeza" and audio-visual music production for the DVD "El Comienzo Del Big Band."

National channel TVE 1 will broadcast the gala live.

The ceremony is organized by the Academy of Music Arts and Sciences, which is jointly run by the Spanish authors' and publishers' society SGAE, and the artists' association AIE. Nominations are selected by AACM's 5,000 members.
