Live Nation VP exits after seven years.

Dave Lucas, CEO of Indianapolis based entertainment company Live 360, has named industry veteran Annie O’Toole as a senior talent buyer, Billboard.biz has learned. O’Toole comes to Live 360 after serving more than seven years with Live Nation (formerly Clear Channel Entertainment-Music, SFX Entertainment).

Lucas is a former CEO of Clear Channel Entertainment; O’Toole worked with Lucas at the Indianapolis based promotion company he founded, Sunshine Promotions (later acquired by SFX), from 1998-2002, serving as senior talent buyer.

Most recently O’Toole served as VP of booking for Live Nation in its St. Louis office from 2005-2006. Prior to that she was the president and area manager for the Live Nation offices in both St. Louis and Kansas City, Kan., from 2002-2004. While with Live Nation, O’Toole handled bookings for such venues as the UMB Bank Pavilion (St. Louis), Verizon Wireless Amphitheater (Kansas City), and the Verizon Wireless Music Center (Indianapolis).

O’Toole has booked events across much of the Midwest and South, including Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Iowa, and southern Illinois. She rejoins Lucas along with recently-announced additions to the Live-360 staff Eric Milby (senior production manager), Jo Nahod (marketing director), Andy Wilson (PR director) and Amie LoPresti (booking coordinator) (Billboard.biz, March 6). All were previously with Lucas at Sunshine, SFX and CCE, and he hired them again when his “no-hire” clause with CCE was lifted, he says.

“It’s a pretty strong first string team,” Lucas tells Billboard.biz. “They were definitely my A Team, and so after my non-hire [clause] was lifted,
it was a natural for me to re-unite with the team that I had. Now we’re just looking to have a good time and book some shows.”

Lucas says Live 360 will promote shows at all size levels, including theaters, arenas, stadiums and alternative outdoor venues. “We are also looking for alliances and joint ventures within the Midwest area as well as outside the Midwest,” he says. “If someone would like to form an alliance with us and work together in a particular market, we’re definitely open to that."

The Indianapolis-based team, however, will primarily be working from Kansas to Pittsburgh East/West, and Michigan to Tennessee North/South.
