Deal includes mastertones, tones, full track downloads.

Digital music distributor the Orchard has partnered with Amp’d Mobile, a startup wireless operator leasing airtime on Verizon’s high-speed wireless network.

Under the deal, revealed at the CTIA conference in Las Vegas, the Orchard will provide music and video from its catalog—including access to mastertones, tones, and full track downloads—to Amp'd Mobile's U.S. consumers. The Orchard is the first major independent distributor to provide content to the wireless operator.

The Orchard's catalog features independent music from around the world, including artists such as Black Flag, Minutemen, The Donnas, Tone Loc and Young MC.
