11 year vet second casualty of the recent merger.

Jeff Allen has become the second casualty of the recent combining of Sony Music Nashville and RCA Label Group (Billboard.biz, April 19). Allen joined Sony as VP of finance in 1995 after three years in the same role at Capitol Records Nashville. He is expected to exit the company shortly.

Allen's ouster comes on the heels of the April 19 layoff of Sony Music Nashville president John Grady. As previously reported, Joe Galante, who previously served as the chairman of RCA Label Group Nashville, now heads the newly combined group —now known as Sony BMG Nashville—as chairman.
