Anaheim Arena Management, the management company for the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim (Calif.), has entered into an exclusive booking arrangement with Live Nation for the Theatre at the Pond.

Live Nation has already secured two shows under this agreement, the Strokes for a sold-out performance March 25, and now Rob Thomas and Jewel on July 1.

The Theatre is a 7,000-seat theater configuration within the 19,400-capacity Arrowhead Pond arena. The arena is transformed by a curtaining system behind the stage; five Schonbek “Empire” crystal chandeliers from the ceiling; gray carpet on the floor and heavy black velour over the dasherboards. Since its inception in 2001, the Theatre has hosted top performers including Maroon5, David Bowie and Tori Amos.

The Arrowhead Pond in its full arena set-up will continue to work with all the top concert promoters in the business including Live Nation. The arena was ranked third in the world for grosses in 2005, according to Billboard Boxscore.
