Universal Music Italy, which has been without an official president and CEO since the departure of Piero La Falce in December, has unveiled a new management structure, with immediate effect.

Universal Music Italy, which has been without an official president and CEO since the departure of Piero La Falce in December, has unveiled a new management structure, with immediate effect.

Massimo Battaglia, who was until now head of the international division, has been promoted to head of commercial affairs, new media and mobile.

Battaglia replaces the previous head of commercial affairs, Nino Rossi, who has left the company. Battaglia's previous position as head of the international division is taken by Graziano Ostuni, who returns to Universal from BMG Ricordi Publishing.

Corrado Filpa, former GM of Universal Music Publishing Italy, has been appointed CFO, replacing Marco Blasi, who has left the company.

Mirko Gratton continues as head of the jazz and classics division and Marco Zischka continues as head of the domestic division.

All appointees report to acting company head, Pascal Negre of Universal Music France.
