Kaino previously creative exec at Napster.

Glenn Kaino has been named executive VP of creative and online for Universal Music Group's International Music Feed (IMF). Kaino reports to IMF's president Andy Schuon and will be based in Santa Monica, Calif.

Kaino will be responsible for the creative direction of the IMF brand, as well as the company's broadband and online initiatives.

Prior to joining IMF, Kaino served as chief creative officer at Napster, where he was responsible for product design, development and programming. He joined the company after Napster acquired pressplay, a joint venture of Universal Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment, where he served as the head of programming and creative director.

Prior to pressplay, Kaino served as executive VP and head of programming at Jimmy and Doug’s Farmclub.com.

In addition to his work in the music industry, Kaino is also a conceptual artist whose work includes sculpture, film, painting and online. He was recently included in the prestigious Whitney Biennial at the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York.
