Highlights of the fifth annual MTV Asia Awards ceremony, held May 6 at Bangkok's Siam Paragon arena, included Kelly Rowland's world-premiere live performance of her new single, "Gotsta Go," and Lee Ryan and Thai female vocalist Tata Young singing the ballad "Endless Love" together.

Rowland and male vocalist Wang Leehom co-hosted the event, which will be broadcast by MTV Asia to the over 400 million households it reaches in the region, as well as through syndication worldwide.

International award winners included Green Day (favorite rock act), Ricky Martin (favorite male), Kelly Clarkson (favorite female), the Backstreet Boys (favorite pop act), Korn's "Twisted Transistor" (favorite video), Simon Webbe (favorite breakthrough artist), Jolin Tsai (the style award) and Destiny's Child (special achievement in popular music).

Local MTV territory favorite artists include Vicki Zhao (China), Twins (Hong Kong), Jal (India), Peterpan (Indonesia), Se7en (Korea), Mawi (Malaysia), Rivermaya (Philippines), Taufik Batisah (Singapore), Wang Leehom (Taiwan) and Tata Young (Thailand).

Winners were determined by MTV viewers throughout Asia, who voted via mobile-based text-messaging services and through MTV Asia's Web site.
