Jason Odell to report to IMF president Andy Schuon.
Jason Odell has been named VP of broadcast engineering for the International Music Feed. He reports to company’s president, Andy Schuon, and is based in Santa Monica, Calif.
Odell developed and oversaw the technical aspects of the network's launch in January 2005 and will now be responsible for the design, integration and management of all technical systems supporting the network.
“Jason’s experience and vision continues to be a real advantage for IMF,” commented Schuon in a statement. “His creative approach challenges many of the conventional ways of creating and transmitting a television network, and thanks to him, we benefit daily from one of the most seemless and advanced technical frameworks in the industry.”
Prior to joining IMF, Odell served as senior broadcast systems engineer for TechTV (now G4) from its launch in 1998 until 2004. At Tech TV, Odell was responsible for the design and integration for all of the network’s broadcast systems. Formerly, he served as systems engineer for Great Circle Systems, a leading edge broadcast engineering firm in California.
