Label pacts with Sony BMG.

Latin alternative indie SourPop Records has signed a licensing agreement with Sony BMG Mexico to market and distribute its compilation “Unite” in Mexico.

U.S.-based SourPop is one of several small Latin alternative indies that have signed distribution or licensing deals with majors in Mexico in recent months (Billboard, Dec. 3, 2005). SourPop is distributed stateside by DLN Distribution.

“Unite” was originally released in the United States at the end of 2005. In Mexico, Sony BMG released it May 18.
