Signs three new label deals.
Koch Records has signed three new deals—with the Damon Dash Music Group, Kedar Entertainment and Atlanta’s Big Oomp—extending its reach in the field of urban music.
The first release under the Damon Dash Music Group pact, run by former Roc-A-Fella co-founder Damon Dash, will be the new album by Sizzla, titled The Overstanding. Kedar Entertainment, run by Kedar Massenburg, the former CEO of motown, and Koch's first offering will be a new album by Buffalo native Sansom. The first Big Oomp/Koch title to hit retail will be the new album by DJ Unk.
“We are all very excited about these deals with such talented partners and are looking forward to long, fruitful and profitable partnerships,” says Koch president Bob Frank in a statement.
