Will continue her career as a soloist.

Mexican singer/songwriter Natalia LaFourcarde, who garnered a Latin Grammy nomination for best new artist for her 2002 self-titled debut, has parted ways with her longtime group, La Forquetina.

LaFourcade, whose most recent album, “Casa,” was released under the name Natalia y La Forquetina, says she will continue her career as a soloist. No word out on future projects or on her plans with her label, Sony BMG.
