Laurence Oxenbury previously CEO at BECS.
PPL, the U.K. record companies and performers collection society, has appointed Laurence Oxenbury to be the organization’s head of international.
The newly created position will give Oxenbury, previously CEO at BECS, the collection society for the actors’ union Equity, the opportunity to improve relationships with PPL’s counterparts internationally.
“With some overseas societies, bilateral deals have been put in place over the last couple of years, and with others, there is still more work to do,” a PPL spokesperson explained.
Oxenbury, who reports to director of operations Clive Bishop, will also lead negotiations with overseas societies on behalf of the acts and labels represented by PPL.
