Will book music, comedy for four venues.

Veteran Nashville live music figure Steve West has joined the Tennessee Performing Arts Center as the director of TPAC Live Music and the War Memorial Auditorium. West will book music, comedy and other talent for TPAC’s four venues and will seek to expand and diversify programming.

Within the TPAC structure are the 2,400-seat Andrew Jackson Hall, the 1,000-seat James K. Polk Theater and the 264-seat Andrew Johnson theater. West will also manage the 1,668-capacity War Memorial which is operated by TPAC.

West has been involved in live music presentation in Nashville for more than 20 years as a concert producer and venue owner. He started Go West Presents in 1986 and opened 328 Performance Hall in 1990.
