Duties now cover VH1, VH1 Classic, MHD.

Ben Zurier has been promoted from VH1’s senior VP of programming strategy to senior VP of programming strategy for VH1, VH1 Classic and Music High-Definition Channel (MHD). Zurier continues to report to Brian Graden, president of entertainment for MTV Networks Music Group.

Since joining VH1 in 2001, Zurier has overseen the programming strategy and played a crucial role in developing the network’s Sunday “Celebreality” and “Friday Night Hook-Up” program packages.
In addition, he continues to oversee program acquisitions for VH1 as well as VH1 Classic and MHD.

Prior to joining VH1, Zurier was senior VP of programming for Rainbow Media and before that he spent three years as VP of programming and research at CBS television. In 1991, Zurier was named VP of development and acquisitions at Comedy Central.
