Moves come after regime changes at the two majors.

After weeks of rumors staff changes are official at EMI Music and Universal Music in Argentina. The shuffle follows regime changes at the two majors.

Rafa Vila has resigned as director of A&R at EMI and now occupies the same position at Sony BMG. Marcelo Moscheni is no longer marketing director at Universal, and now occupies that position at EMI. He was replaced in Universal by Karina Stragno, former international label manager.

Additionally, Gabriel Salcedo, former executive director of record chamber CAPIF, has resigned and was replaced by Roberto Piay, former president of BMG until the 2005 fusion with Sony Music.

These changes come after EMI and Universal appointed new presidents during the last month, Camilo Kejner at EMI and Manuel Peña at Universal. Former EMI Argentina president Alejandro Varela is now working with concert promoters Fenix Entertainment. Victor González, previously president of Universal Music Argentina, is now president of Universal Music Mexico.

Changes among label managers are expected, but nothing has been announced.
