Veteran artist manager Peter Jenner has penned a report into the challenges of new technology and consumer attitudes in the digital age.

Published today (Sept. 18), "Beyond The Soundbytes" draws upon and analyses the issues scrutinized during the first three years of MusicTank, the U.K. music business network event regularly held in London.

In the document, Jenner highlights such topic points as how the industry can devise better models of delivering music, and how the artist/label relationship should evolve.

The crux of the 61-page report will form the basis of a MusicTank U.K. music industry conference, to be held mid-October.

In a career spanning more than 40 years, Jenner has been involved in managing artists including Pink Floyd, the Clash and Ian Dury. Jenner is currently secretary general of trade body the International Music Managers' Forum and chairman of the European Live Music Forum. Through his own management firm Sincere, he continues to oversee the career of Billy Bragg, among others.
