Will oversee all A&R activities for the label.

Fred Mollin has been appointed VP of A&R for Walt Disney Records. Mollin will be based at the company’s Burbank headquarters and reports to David Agnew, executive VP/GM Buena Vista Music Group. In his new position, Mollin will be responsible for overseeing all A&R activities for the label.

During his career, Mollins has served as a record producer, film and TV composer, musical director, recording artist and songwriter. His credits include the Grammy-nominated “Sometimes When We Touch” by Dan Hill, plus such critically acclaimed albums as Jimmy Webb’s “Ten Easy Pieces” and Kris Kristofferson’s “The Austin Sessions.” As a composer for television Mollin’s credits include “Forever Night,” “Hard Copy,” “The Outer Limits” and “Beverly Hills 90210.” His songs have been recorded by Eric Clapton and Cher.
