Muse and Nelly Furtado will also perform at the 2006 gala.

James Bond actor Daniel Craig, electronic artist Moby, British pop trio Sugababes, and Jackass star Johnny Knoxville are among the celebrities confirmed to present awards on the night, MTV said today (Oct. 9).

As previously reported, the Red Hot Chili Peppers is in the running for four awards, including best rock act and best group.

Justin Timberlake will host and also perform at the event, to be broadcast simultaneously from the city's Bella Center and Radhuspladsen Town Square.

The MTV EMAs will be executive produced by Richard Godfrey, produced by Debbie Phillips and directed by Hamish Hamilton.
