110,000 CDRs, 936 CDR/DVD burners seized.

As part of its continued anti-piracy actions in Latin America, the IFPI's Mexican division, Apdif, in conjunction with Mexican law enforcement, executed search warrants in several locations inside Tepito market in Mexico City. A total of seven labs and 12 warehouses were searched, yielding 110,000 recorded CDRs, 2 million covers and 936 CDR/DVD burners.

Apdif Mexico collaborated with local police as well as prosecutors from the Federal Attorney's office in the raid. Authorities suspect the raided warehouses are operated by organized crime syndicates.
