As previously reported on Billboard.biz, Napster acquired AOL Music Now's 350,000 subscribers just a week after landing the subscriber base of the now-defunct Virgin Digital subscription service.

Further details have emerged via a Form 8-K filing Napster made with the SEC today (Jan. 16). Napster will pay AOL $15.6 million for its 350,000 subscribers and "certain related assets and liabilities."

Additionally, Napster will receive exclusive ad rights throughout AOL Music Channel for one year. The agreement will be subject to renewal if certain, unnamed milestones are hit.
