Spanish language TV viewers will get a radically different alternative beginning today (March 5) with the launch of V-Me, a national Spanish-language network formed in partnership with public television. V-me (a play on words that translates to "see me") debuted at 1 PM as a 24-hour, digital broadcast network reaching 28 million homes.

The network features children's programming, contemporary film, lifestyle affairs and special events among other programming.

V-me is the first company of V-me Media, a media company founded by
businessman Mario Baeza. V-me's president is Carmen DiRienzo.
