England's Carphone Warehouse has launched a music download service called MyMobileMusic. The service features access to 2.5 million tracks, compatible with Microsoft WMA digital rights management technology for both MP3 players and mobile phones.

It requires no software to download, but instead features a "drag and drop" experience from the existing Carphone Warehouse Web site. Another interesting feature is a music insurance program that will replace customers' entire downloaded music collection should their device be damaged or stolen.

The store is managed by partner Virgin Digital, which recently closed its U.S.-based digital music service.
