Digital distributor and marketing firm The Orchard has struck a deal with Pringles for a mobile music promotion. For three months, Pringles will conduct a nationwide campaign offering a choice of two master ringtone downloads via a code printed on potato chip cans that customers can redeem online and have sent directly to their phones.

The Orchard is providing more than 300 songs for the tones, including TV and film themes like "The Godfather" and "Jaws," current hits from Bloc Party, emerging artists like The Hold Steady, classic favorites like Young MC's "Bust a Move," and other tones in various genres.
