Warner Music Group senior VP of strategy and product development George White spoke with Wired magazine recently about the changes expected in album art and liner notes in the digital age.

Of the issues raised, White says WMG is working with Apple to include more interactive liner notes and Flash-based animated album art. About 15 albums have used the Flash-based album art capabilities, he said, pointing to Paul Simon's "Surprise" as an example of interactive album packages.

Other initiatives include extending these same capabilities onto mobile phones and even videogame consoles.
