Klaxons, Dinosaur Jr., the Rapture, Long Winters, Tapes 'N Tapes, the Ponys, Rogue Wave and Voxtrot, among others, will perform at various Urban Outfitters locations across the U.S. as part of the Free Yr Radio tour (Billboard.biz, April 10).

The free in-store concert series starts April 15 in Chicago with the Klaxons, and wraps June 11 in Boston with Dinosaur Jr. Free Yr Radio will hit four additional as-yet-unannounced markets through July 21. Additional acts will be announced shortly.

The tour was conceived through a brand partnership between Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., and Urban Outfitters in an effort to support non-commercial radio. Each gig will be co-presented by a non-commercial station, which will receive proceeds from a Free Yr Radio compilation CD to be released at the end of campaign. In addition, participating stations will give away a new Toyota Yaris to a listener.

Entry to each show will be given to those who present an invite, which can be printed from the Free Yr Radio Web site.

Participating stations include WLUW (Chicago), KTRU (Houston), KEXP (Seattle), Y-Rock On XPN (Philadelphia), KZSC (Santa Cruz, Calif.), 89.3 The Current (Minneapolis), WERS (Boston), WKNC (Raleigh/Durham, N.C.) WBWC (Cleveland) and KGNU (Boulder, Colo.).
