Oprah Winfrey recently ran a two-part series surrounding the Don Imus controversy entitled, "Now What After Imus."

In a town hall style, Common, WMG VP Kevin Liles, Russell Simmons and Dr. Ben Chavis sat on a panel today (April 17), discussing who is at fault for hip-hop's use of the words "ho," "bitch" and the "n word."

The panel danced around who's actually responsible for the demeaning words, although they were asked directly by a group of Spellman college girls exactly what they were going to do about hip-hop's climate.

They group agreed it was a problem, and then highlighted the socio-economic status of those creating the music, saying we couldn't talk about one without talking about the other.
