Latin youth-oriented channel MTV Tr3s, which launched in September, has given the greenlight to 12 new original productions and 12 returning shows for the 2007-2008 season. The channel will present its programming during a road show that kicks off May 30 in San Antonio, Texas.

New music oriented shows include "Rock Dinner," where a lucky winner has 12
hours to cook for an invited guest artist; "Hachetepe," where a top act will record day-to-day experiences on video and blogs; "Tour-ismo," a show that follows a band's first visit to a city; and "Dame un Break," which allows unsigned acts to compete for a record deal or the airing of a video on MTV Tr3s, via an online and mobile showcasing.

MTV Tr3s is currently carried on over 30 broadcast TV stations, cable, DirectTV and Telco providers. The channel reaches over 28 million households and 5.5 million Hispanic TV households in the United States.
