Universal Music Group is participating in the launch of a digital ad delivery service with Musicrypt and The Gary Group.

Musicrypt works with record labels and radio stations to provide a secure system for the digital delivery of radio singles and promotions. That system is now being updated to include advertising from the labels as well.

The first ad campaign to use the new system will promote the release of UMG artist Fair to Midland. Ad agency The Gary Group says it hopes to make the new service its primary ad delivery solution within six months.
