The fourth annual Fashion Rocks event, presented by the Conde Nast Media Group, touches down at Radio City Music Hall on Sept. 6. The concert will air the following evening, Sept. 7, in a two-hour special on CBS.

As in previous years, the 2007 edition of Fashion Rocks celebrates the synergy that exists between music and fashion. Hosted by "Entourage" star Jeremy Piven, this year's event will feature performances by Alicia Keys, Avril Lavigne, Fall Out Boy, Carrie Underwood, Fergie, Jennifer Hudson, Santana, Aerosmith and others.

According to Condé Nast Media Group president Richard C. Beckman, the upcoming celebration of music and fashion will feature more sophisticated production and upgraded fashion show elements.

On the musical front, Beckman says it was important to spotlight a broader array of performers, covering all genres of music. "There will be some unexpected performances, some unexpected partnerships," he acknowledges. "And all the artists will not necessarily be performing their own hits." Sponsored by Chevrolet, Citi, Revlon, Dillard's and Nexxus, Fashion Rocks 2007 will be accompanied by the Fashion Rocks magazine supplement, which will accompany the September issues of 17 Condé Nast titles, including Vogue.

Executive producers of Fashion Rocks are Beckman and Tall Pony Productions president Anthony Eaton. International fashion production company OBO will produce the fashion segments that appear throughout the concert.
