MRC, the London-based multi-market music company, has merged its label operations with Output Recordings, the shuttered dance label.

Output is noted for having discovering new indie/dance talents such as LCD Soundsystem, DK7 and U.S. alternative rock act the Rapture.

The label, however, ceased trading in 2006 after 10 years in operation, and having released more than 100 albums. A final release will be "I Hate Music," a compilation by founder Trevor Jackson, slated to street this fall.

New owner MRC will later releasing catalog material on physical formats, digitally, and making repertoire available for synchronization.
