Following its acquisition of BMG Music Publishing, Universal Music Publishing Group has appointed senior executives for its integrated Latin music operation.

The new appointments are: Marcelo C. Falcão, managing director of Brazil; Yadira Moreno, MD of Mexico; Ana Maria de Visaggio, GM of Argentina; Carmen Valencia, GM of Chile; Sonia Amaya, MD of Colombia; and Rafael Artero, U.S. Latin creative VP.

Falcão, Moreno and Artero come most recently from BMG Music Publishing, where they respectively signed the likes of Antonio Villeroy, Leonel Garcia, Mauricio Arriaga, and Sergio Vallin.

UMPG's De Visaggio, Valencia and Amaya have a collective roster that includes Charly Garcia, Babasonicos, La Ley and Jose Gaviria.

The six appointees report to UMPG senior VP of Latin America Eddie Fernandez.
