With four nods each, British newcomers Enter Shikari and American alternative rockers My Chemical Romance lead the nominations for the Kerrang Awards, to be held at London's the Brewery on Aug. 23.

Enter Shikari is vying for best single with "Sorry, You're Not a Winner" (Ambush Reality), best album for "Take To The Skies", best British band and best live band.

My Chemical Romance is up for best single with "Welcome to the Black Parade" (Reprise Records), best album, best video and best international band.

Meanwhile, Chicago alternative-rock act Fall Out Boy clinch three nominations - for best album with "Infinity On High" (Island Records), best international band and best video.

Among those acts grabbing two nominations are 30 Second To Mars, which is fronted by Hollywood actor Jared Leto; Muse, Biffy Clyro, Lostprophets and Hellogoodbye.

The nominations are based on a tally of more than 387,000 votes, cast via specialist rock magazine Kerrang and its Kerrang.com Web site.
