CBS Radio and ousted on-air personality Don Imus have reached at settlement for his outstanding contract. The terms of the deal were not revealed.

Just before his dismissal from sports WFAN/New York on April 12 for making racist remarks about the Rutgers University women's basketball team, Imus signed a five-year, $40 million contract with CBS.

Imus is negotiating with Citadel talk WABC/New York to resume his broadcasting career, according to the Associated Press.

Former NFL star Boomer Esiason and radio personality Craig Carton will take over WFAN’s morning show once helmed by Imus Sept. 4.
