Producer/Songwriter Salaam Remi (Amy Winehouse, The Fugees, Sade, Chrisette Michele, Sting) has created a soulful version of the Beatles "Come Together" track to be performed tonight during VH1's Fashion Rocks concert by Grammy-Award winning actress/singer Jennifer Hudson and Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry.

"That was a great experience because it allowed me to venture outside the ordinary," says Remi. "I was able to put my full creative spin on the music."

Remi, who produced ten songs on Winehouse's 2003 debut, "Frank," and half of the songs on her second album, "Back To Black" - including next single "Tears Dry On Their Own" - recently filled in as executive music supervisor for New Line Cinema's "Rush Hour 3," producing the film's theme song titled "Less Than An Hour" (Nas and Cee-Lo). He is currently in the studio completing Queens rapper NAS' greatest hits collection and new solo album. He is also fine-tuning songs he created for Hudson's J Records debut, as well as working on projects for Busta Rhymes, Joell Ortiz, Leona Lewis, Nina Sky, Spragga Benz, David Sean and The Champagne Flutes.
