Latin singer Jon Secada has signed an exclusive worldwide booking agreement with Nashville-based booking agency the Bobby Roberts Company (BRC).

Secada has a handful of one-off concert dates scheduled for this fall, with more expected for 2008, according to the agency's CEO Bobby Roberts.

In May, the firm launched a Latin division that offers exclusive bookings for Latin country music artists. Maritza Baca, president of the U.S. Hispanic Country Music Association, is overseeing BRC Latin. Baca is a Hispanic marketer by trade and has worked with national brands such as 7-Eleven, Inc., McDonald's, and Unilever.

The division's first singings included Nashville Star contestants John Arthur Martinez and Melanie Torres, along with Bobby Marquez and Janie Feliz.

Meanwhile, BRC is celebrating its 21st year, booking such country artists as Merle Haggard, John Anderson, Pam Tillis, Larry Gatlin, Ray Price, T. Graham Brown, Mark Farner, and Whiskey Brown.
