Atlantic Records' UK division is teaming up with social networking site Bebo to promote emerging act The Days.

The band's music will be featured in Bebo's online series "Kate Modern" -- a spinoff of the "Lonlygirl15" webisode drama, available only on Bebo, where members can influence the storyline.

The Days will perform in the show, and band members will interact with lead characters. Additionally, Bebo will promote the act's upcoming release "Evil Girls."

As part of the deal, recent Warner Music U.K. releases will also feature in the online series, either as incidental music or as part of the lead character's video collages.

"We no longer rely on a finite number of physical formats and a limited range of promotional media to connect a band with an audience," said Atlantic Records U.K. managing director Max Lousada in a statement. "There is now a plethora of ways that people can enjoy music, and in the digital world retail and marketing opportunities are often intertwined."

He added: "By using the full spectrum of channels available to build support for bands like The Days, traditional means such as gigging and press interviews work alongside truly groundbreaking, inventive ideas such as this one."
