Beyonce will perform at an as-yet-unannounced venue on Nov. 1 in Jakarta, Indonesia, according to her Los Angeles-based booking agency, International Creative Management (ICM). The announcement follows the cancellation of a performance that was scheduled for the same day in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Kuala Lumpur concert, which would have been Beyonce's first-ever performance in Malaysia, was scrapped because of a "scheduling conflict," according to a statement from ICM, released Monday (Oct. 1).

In the statement, Razlan Razali, chairman of Kuala Lumpur-based promoter Pineapple Concerts, expressed disappointment and frustration regarding the cancellation, but declined to comment on rumors that Beyonce wouldn't comply with Malaysia's strict dress code for performers.

Although the overwhelming majority of Indonesians are Muslims, the country is said to be less strict than Malaysia about enforcing moral strictures on performing artists.

Along with Indonesia, Beyonce is scheduled to perform in China, Thailand, and India in November.
